Industrial Apple Juicer

Furui Machinery offers industrial apple juicer machines, including the LZ series and the PZJ series (integrated crusher), which can process 0.5 to 2.5 tons of apples per hour. The LZ series processes pre-crushed apples or small fruits, while the PZJ series features a built-in heavy-duty crusher that can handle whole apples directly.

  • PZJ Series: Built-in crusher; can process whole apples directly. Recommended for standalone apple processing. Direct whole apple feeding eliminates manual pre-cutting, reduces labor costs, and maximizes juice yield.
  • LZ Series: Requires pre-crushed apple chunks/pulp. Ideal for facilities with an existing fruit crusher or manual cutting, or lines processing small fruits like berries, grapes, and more. 
  • Apple Juicer Yield: 60%-75%. The juice yield varies depending on the feeding size, apple variety, ripeness, and more.

Advantages of Screw Apple Juicer Machine

High Juice Yield (up to 75%)

Our on-site data delivers that the juice yield is 70%-76% for crisp apples, while for mealy apples, it will be 60%-65%. The juice yield will be different depending on apple variety, ripeness, crushing fineness, and pressure setting.

Cold-Pressed Juices & Cider

Heat rise during pressing is only 3-5 °C at room temperature to retain fresh flavor. Vitamin C retention is 18-22% higher than thermal extraction methods, measured at 85-90% retention for raw NFC juice.

Food-Grade Stainless Steel

All product-contact parts are constructed from SS304 food-grade stainless steel (316 available upon request). It offers high corrosion resistance and food safety. All our juicer machines are CE certified.

Apple Juicer Machine -- How It Works

Step 1: Crushing

Whole apples enter through hopper, where heavy-duty rotating fly knives cut them against fixed knives. The fruit is instantly broken down into optimal 3-10 mm particles, falling directly into the pressing chamber.

Step 2: Continuous Screw Pressing

As the main screw drives the crushed pulp forward, the space between screw and screen decreases. This progressive pressure squeezes juice out through the screen mesh, and the juice is discharged from the pipe.

Step 3: Automatic Discharge

The dry pomace (pulp waste) is discharged through the end outlet. Operators can easily turn the manual handwheel to adjust the pressure to match specific juice clarity and juice yield. Narrower gap → higher back pressure → higher juice yield.

Apple Processing Solution: Juicing vs. Pulping

1. Juicing System (Screw Juicer vs. Crusher-Juicer)
  • PZJ Crusher Juicer (Recommended):

    Handles whole apples directly. Crushing apples into small pieces prior to pressing maximizes juice yield and hourly production capacity.
  • Standard Screw Juicer: Requires manual or mechanical pre-cutting (at least quartering). If you feed whole apples directly, the juice yield will be much lower, say about 50%. 
2. Pulping System
  • Process Requirement: Apples must be pre-cooked with added water before entering the pulping machine.
  • Result: The pulping screen extracts a high-solid, viscous pulp/puree containing fine fruit flesh, ideal for puree, baby food, or sauce production.
