Function and Mechanism
Solid liquid separator is used to separate solids from liquids in organic waste or wastewater. The main function is to remove excess moisture from solid waste or slurry, reducing waste volume and weight.
Our solid liquid separator works by using a screw mechanism to compress and separate solids from liquids in slurry or sludge mixtures. The mixture is driven forward by the screw, which has a gradually decreasing pitch and an increasing diameter, applying more pressure as the material moves. As the material advances, the liquid is squeezed out through the screen, and the dewatered solids are expelled at the end of the screw.
