How Does A Slope Screen Separator Work?
A sloped screen manure separator operates through a multi-stage filtration process to achieve effective solid-liquid separation. Here's its working principle:
- The wastewater is pumped and evenly distributed onto the inclined screen surface.
- As the manure slurry flows over the inclined screen, the liquid flows out through the screen gaps, while solid particles are retained on the surface.
- Under hydraulic action and gravity, the solid particles are pushed to the lower end of the screen, where they enter the screw conveyor.
- The screw then pushes the solid particles into a cylindrical screen for secondary separation.
- Finally, the screw applies pressure to the solid material against a blocking device and pushing the dewatered solids out.
