At Furui Machinery, we have two types of manure separators to choose from, namely manure screw press and sloped screen separator. Screw press separator works by using screw mechanism to separate the solid and liquid components of materials. And it can lower the liquid content to about 60%. Uses of Dewatered Manure
Cow Dung
Dewatered cow dung is a valuable organic fertilizer, which can be used in gardens, farms, and agricultural fields. Or it can be used as a base material for composting. Besides, it can be used as bedding material for livestock.
Pig Manure
The heavy metal content of the dewatered pig manure exceeds the standard. It is generally used in the production of organic fertilizer. It can't be used as fertilizer directly.
Chicken Manure
The dewatered chicken manure can be used as feed for pigs and cattle or be used directly as a plant fertilizer. It also can be fermented to make organic fertilizer.
Separated Liquid
The best way to handle the separated liquid is to ferment it in a biogas digester for approximately 20 days. After fermentation, the liquid can be used for flushing animal husbandry facilities or as a fertilizer for plants.

The screw manure separator operates by using an underwater pump to transfer manure slurry into the machine. Inside the machine, the screw gradually pushes the material forward. As the material moves, the pressure continuously increases. Slope Screen Separator
- Working Principle: Uses a sloped screen and screw press to separate solids from liquids. As the material is fed onto the screen, gravity helps the liquid drain through the openings while the solids are retained and further processed by a screw press.
- Suitable for separating materials with high liquid content (over 90%).
- The liquid content of the dewatered solid is about 70-80%.
- Commonly used in wastewater treatment, farms with water-flushing manure systems.
- Machine material: almost all stainless steel.
