Colloid Mill for Sale
A colloidal mill is designed to reduce particle size in liquids, resulting in fine, stable emulsions or suspensions. This machine processes materials to achieve particle sizes between 50 and 200 meshes with a homogeneity greater than 90%, making it ideal for ultra-fine particle processing. At Furui Machinery, we offer a diverse selection of colloid mill machines to meet your specific needs. Please refer to the table below for more information.

Colloid Mill Uses
A colloid mill can process a wide range of materials for fine emulsions, dispersions, and particle size reduction.
- Nuts, including peanuts, almonds, cashews, sesame, cocoa beans, soybeans, hazelnuts, and walnuts for making nut butter/paste.
- Fruits and vegetables, such as chili, strawberry, and tomatoes, for making fruit purees, jams, and sauces.
- Meat and bone: Used to produce fine pastes for sausages, spreads, and pâtés.
- Other industries: It is widely used in industries like pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and chemicals. For example, it can be used to produce coatings, pigments, glue, ink, creams, gels, etc.
Colloidal Mill Working Principle
1. During operation, the colloid mill is driven by a motor through a belt. The rotor rotates at high speed, while the stator is a stationary part. The gap between the rotor and stator can be adjusted to control the fineness of the processed material.
2. As the material passes through the narrow gap between the rotor and stator, it is subjected to strong shearing forces, compression, and high-frequency vibrations. These physical forces effectively emulsify, disperse, and grind the material, resulting in fine particle size reduction and emulsification.
3. The grinding chamber contains three grinding areas, namely coarse grinding area, fine grinding area, and ultrafine grinding area. After grinding, the processed material is discharged from the mill for further processing or packaging.
Features of Colloid Grinder
What Will Impact the Performance of Colloid Machine?
1. Tooth Structure
The finer the tooth structure, the more effective the milling process. Furui Machinery offers various tooth designs, such as diamond teeth, diagonal teeth, and composite teeth. We recommend the most suitable stator and rotor design based on the specific materials you intend to process.
2. Rotary Speed
The faster rotation means a higher shear rate. A higher shear rate generally leads to finer and more homogeneous products.
3. Grinding Time
The time that the material spends in the grinding chamber will influence the grinding performance. Therefore, at the same motor power, a lower flow rate typically results in better processing outcomes. On the other hand, the material can be processed by the colloid mill multiple times to achieve the desired fineness and homogeneity.
Conclusion
At Furui Machinery, we offer a range of colloid mill machines in different sizes and designs to fit specific needs. They are made from stainless steel, ensuring durability and food hygiene. Whether you're processing nut butter, cocoa paste, bone or meat mud, or chili sauce, a colloid mill ensures a consistent and uniform end product.
